Google says that it will soon bring December back to Android 4.2. The latest version of its Google mobile operating system that came with a rather embarrassing oversight: December is missing from the date picker in the apartment of the people, which is quite difficult to enter birthdays and other dates. While December shows is included in the calendar, was missing from the Central applications in Android 4.2 jelly beans.
In the post about the Google Android + food Google just acknowledge mistakes and promised to release a fix soon:
Found a bug in Android 4.2 update, which makes it impossible to enter the December events in the optional fields of the people app (this bug did not affect the calendar). Be confident, that this will be fixed soon, so those of you with December birthdays and anniversaries will not be forgotten by your friends and family.
Google took surprisingly long to recognize this bug. Outdoor before five days, but even that has been widely reported, the company did not publicly acknowledge. "Soon", of course, gives us a secure date for when to expect a fix, but at least it is now clear that the company is on it, and will offer a solution in the near future.
