TechCrunch has obtained a secret copy of what can a mockup for the new Yahoo home page. Yesterday, Yahoos new CEO Marissa Mayer shared his overall vision for the future of the Internet company with employees.
AllThingsD parts not specific plans for the establishment of Mayer, search and email or an "in-process and dramatic home page redesign." While reporter Kara Swisher ATD appears to have phones on Yahoo intercepted and perhaps a @ yahoo-inc.com e-mail address, she has been able to get a look at the redesign. Yahoo also have cracking on leaks, but that does not stop us.

Yes, the new Start page is very similar to the home page of Google, Mayer's former employer. Mayer, who was a Google employee number 20, oversaw the actual website famous pure, plain white Search on Google. We have also heard that she was responsible for the longest time without any changes on this website. New Yahoo homepage mockup is therefore not so surprising.
Mayer has to borrow many ideas from his years at Google, including a focus on product and data, free food in the cafeteria and weekly "FYI" meetings as Google's "TGIF" meetings. She also approve all company hiring, like the Google founders.
Mayer has already removed some ads from website by AllThingsD. But this new ad-free website design is a surprise and risk because the home page Yahoo generate significant ad revenue for the company.
The new home page features links to key areas that Yahoo plans to double-down on, including search, Mobile and social. There are also links to the reported 4 CS which is a part of Mayer's targets for talent at Yahoo: culture, company goals, calibration and compensation.
If you are not logged, the Yahoos homepage first top nav button "You!", similar to Google's "+ you".
Also note that Yahoo drop the ® symbol from their logo, which was first reported by TechCrunch earlier this month. But not the! symbol.
Mayer has hopefully also a good sense of humor. I have heard that she has a good laugh.
